Happy New Year!

It was all happening at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel, Cebu last night, the New year Countdown
and the spectacular fireworks display.

A myriad of Cebuanos gathered to join the bandwagon of the final day as we all bid adieu to 2007 and welcome 2008.

Everybody enjoyed the party, the dinner buffet at P1,600 and of course the amazing bang of fireworks.

Merriment is on the air. Maayong Bag-ong Tuig kaninyong tanan!

Christmas Tree in Ayala

This Christmas tree in Ayala Center, Cebu is a sight to behold by Ayala shoppers.
They stop and take a magic shot of the beautifully decorated evergreen tree with colored lights
ablaze inspires in many warm memories of Christmas.

Whenever I pass by the area along Mark Spencer's boutique and Oh Georg's where the Christmas tree is located, I always overheard passersby saying "Pa-picture ta na" I am just so thankful to the lady guard spotted near the tree whose always ready to take the shot for you and your colleague.

Ayala makers decorated their trees with symbols of prosperity -- a fruitful harvest, coins for wealth and various charms such as those for love or fertility.

Truly, Ayala Center Cebu consistently attracts local and international visitors as it gives prime malling experience for people of all ages esp on Christmas Time

Hello Stranger

Hello, stranger!

This is a new blog i just created on this last day of the year 2007.
This will mark the re-born of my dying dreams and the new flame of my hopes.
I will be writing interesting stuffs about Cebu,Philippines. The Queen City of South.

Why Cebu?

For a very simple reason that this place made so much mark on my life. Both good and bad.
Agreeable and objectionable. Pleasing and morally revolting. Everything.
