OUR LOVE STORY

It's nice to come up with your own love story and every time you share it, it's like an endless healing.

My love story was unpredictable at first but was filled with love and passion later on. My relationship with my husband now has taught me more on living and loving and trying to find purpose in this crazy world.

On your wedding day, it is really best to share a little of your love story to your guests . They would be very eager and giddy to know where it all started.

This was read by our beautiful wedding host, Cathy Gabronino of ABS-CBN-Cebu.
Every heart has a prayer.... to be loved, to be cherished, to be taken cared of unconditionally.

This prayer echoes on in every corner of lonely streets, empty laughters and broken promises.

Pie and Sho prayed long and hard enough and found their prayers answered through each other.

The two first met during Globe's Christmas party at Mariott Hotel on December 2004----- Sho, a Senior Software Engineer and Pie, an E-Marketing Supervisor then were both invited on the said party. They were on different groups and was unsuspecting of what would transpire later. But nothing happened between them.

This led to another party, Infoweapon's party when Sho's officemate, Mars invited Pie to attend. It was needless to say that the two found company in each other.

Days after these first two meetings, Sho dropped by at Pie's office to give some good DVD to watch and an invitation for some coffee break... appreciative of the budding friendship, Pie accepted.

Days and months later, Pie and Sho spent more and more time together --- they were tireless of uncomplicated conversations, meeting each other's friends and families, traveling while discovering their strengths and flaws, and doing their favorite bonding: jogging in Abellana grounds.

It was in June 15, 2005 when Pie and Sho finally became a couple and admitted how much they love and treasure each other. Pie recalls how much searching she went through just to find the guy her heart desires... Sho was also restless in the same fate... and that day, when they truly found each other, was a prayer answered.

The relationship, just like another, was not perfect. It battled its own storms and doubts. There were times when the two were ready to walk away. Yet a much stronger love and conviction made them stay. The two knows that there would be no further place to look, they safely belong in each other
.

On June 17, 2008 in a paradise beach, during one of Pie's unguarded moments, Sho proposed to marry Pie ... to spend endless moments with her. It was an extra splendid moment, when both the sun and the sky basked in the couple's overpowering joy. It was a time frozen in paths where prayers and happy endings come true.

After almost 4 years of being a couple, Pie and Sho now affirm their love and lifetime commitment in front of all the special persons in their lives, and especially in front of their main witness, God.

For both Pie and Sho, this is another start of a thousand more laughters, and of love so profound. A love that finds home in each other's stares, in each other's arms.

My happiness is.......

One of my frustrations in life is not having a good eye sight. It started way back in high-school when I had my self-inflicted lifestyle. I read books till morning, I read while lying in bed. I read with minimal amount of light. Basta, the culprit is books! ...from then on, my blurry vision just continue increasing. I became then a frequent eye-glasses wearer because I was also too squeamish to put something on my eyes.

But on my wedding day I decided to wear contact lens. I SHOULD, or else I would look really old on my wedding day.

But this is what happened when you wear a "coffee colored contact lens"... an instant Vampire! or Geisha like hahahaha

(Pls click for bigger picture)

I guess its' my poor camera that doesn't have eye reduction. haay, i can't wait for my official photos.

Hear me, heaven.. My happiness is having my previously good eyesight back! :-)

SO MUCH on Valentines day

Sharing kiss with my flower girl.

(I'd like to share the final part of my wedding speech to all of you this Valentines day.)

For those of you who don't know, My husband and I have some favorites words in our relationship, one of those is “ SO MUCH” and I'd like to share the meaning with all of you.

It is difficult to quantify love, sometimes it simply just "is", other times you feel it is like a world for you. But what I feel for my husband and he is for me --- is so big, and so overwhelming, that the only way I can accurately show him how much I love him is to say "So Much", because that is, of course, as much as there can ever be.

I will finish off by having you all raise a glass.

My wish is for all of you to experience "SO MUCH". I wish for your lives and your homes to be brimming with joy, full of friends and family, and surrounded by the love of someone you love and who loves you in return.

I wish to all of you "SO MUCH"! Cheers!

Happy Valentines Day, everyone. Celebrate life with SO MUCH love!

Do you believe in SUKOB?

Do you believe in SUKOB?

Sukob, or what we call a Wedding Curse in English is based on the Filipino superstition that misfortune will come to a married couple and their family if the wedding is held within months of another family member’s death or if the wedding is held within the year of another sibling’s wedding.

I feel bad over this whole SUKOB thing. Whether we like it or not, sometimes these beliefs and superstitions do affect us.

I just got married 2 weeks ago and now, my husband's brother needed to get wed this year. Everybody says, NOOOOO It's Sukob.

I have been following the SUKOB belief and I can't easily divorce myself from believing it as well as other superstitions.

Yes, I am disheartened on why it has to be on the same year. BUT i will try my very best to turn the world around by changing my attitudes towards beliefs, traditions and superstitions.

I know that we have the power to do things we never dreamed possible. This power now becomes available to us just so we can change our beliefs.

I will let this go and I will trust more on to the LORD.
Let me work on my FAITH even more and even better.

A HEN party.

A night before my wedding, A group of my gfriends dropped by to take a glimpse on me before I become a wife. They actually have naughty gimmick prepared for me which was really crazy but
it was such a sweet surprise.

We had a simple and intimate dinner first.......then comes a bridal shower.
Oh by the way, another term for Bridal Shower is HEN PARTY.

It was fun. wholefully fun. Bridal Shower after all is a way of making you feel relax and calm before the Big Day. So please include that on your preparation. Have one of your friends prepare that for you.

And these are some of the sexy stuffs I received.

My Advise: Please limit your visitors before the wedding. MAximum time of fun will be up to 10pm. After that, shut the door and leave them outside.

My wedding invitation

Remember before, I wrote about the concept of my invitation? My so expressive wedding invitation.
Dang! I want to share to you the actual look of my invites. I actually got a lot of compliments on this because it looks so simple yet so elegant, romantic and very personal.

(This is the outside look -- with Printed words on it)

Our Journey to find true love ends..
Sho & Pie
Our Journey to cherish true love begins.....

(When you take it out from the envelope....look!)

It's a rose-themed invitation. With Red and Gold color as my motif.
It's still double fold with a rose packet on it.

(With meaningful words printed on it: It says....)
Top Most: Let this be our destiny to begin each new day together, to share our lives forever.
Over our Picture: My greatest happiness is sharing life with you - Sho
I am proud to marry you - Pie

These are the list of my entourage in different lengths. I have them all inserted inside the pocket rose at the right side.
(This is the how the bookmark looks like with a very meaningful message on it.)
For you,

Ever since we announced our engagement,
You have gone out of your way to congratulate
and wish us best.
The unbelievable outpouring of love and support
has been amazingly great and incredibly uplifting.

Thank you,

For you
For the meaning you've brought
For being one of the people we can share this life with
For being part of our lives

It has been one great gift.

Thank you for celebrating with us. We are very grateful
and we can't wait to see you on our big day.

Love,
Sho and Pie
